VProtect: Building a Category That Didn't Exist, for a Brand That Had Already Failed 10 Times

VProtect sits inside SIS Group, India's largest listed security company, a ₹10,000 crore group. When Clicks Bazaar took on the brand in 2021, ten agencies before us had already tried and failed. This is the story of the eleventh attempt, and the six years since.

About VProtect

VProtect builds smart e-surveillance and AI monitoring solutions, real-time alerts, smart sensors, and AI-powered monitoring for homes and businesses. It operates under SIS Group, a name that carries real weight in India's security industry, SIS is the country's largest listed security company, and VProtect represents their move into the smart, AI-driven side of that business. That backing meant expectations were high from day one. It also meant the brand had already tried, and failed, to make its digital presence work before Clicks Bazaar ever got involved.

Where This Started

The eleventh agency, after ten had already failed.

By the time VProtect came to Clicks Bazaar in 2021, the brand had existed for three to four years already. In that time, ten different agencies had tried to make its digital marketing work, and every single one had failed. Not underperformed, failed, to the point where the internal team genuinely didn't believe digital was a channel that could work for this business at all.

That's not a normal starting point for an engagement. Most agencies walk into a relationship with at least some benefit of the doubt. Clicks Bazaar walked into one where the client had already been burned ten times over and had every reason to expect an eleventh disappointment.

So the first move wasn't a full takeover. It was a pilot. A set of performance marketing campaigns, scoped small enough to prove or disprove whether this could actually work before either side committed to more. It worked. Not dramatically at first, but enough that the team noticed a real difference from what ten previous agencies had delivered.

Building From the Pilot

Once the pilot proved the channel could work, the engagement expanded fast. Clicks Bazaar built VProtect's website from the ground up, set up their social media presence, and brought in SEO as a long-term foundation alongside the paid campaigns that had already started earning trust.

Before this work, VProtect was getting no leads through digital. Not a low number, none. Within the early phase of this expanded engagement, that number moved to roughly five to six thousand leads a month, a shift from a digital presence that wasn't producing anything to one generating real, consistent inbound interest for a security brand in a category where trust is everything.

That number alone would have been a strong result. It became the starting point for the next phase, not the finish line.

Beyond Lead Generation: Nurturing and Conversion

Getting leads was only half the problem.

Once the volume was there, the next challenge was making sure those leads actually turned into customers. A security purchase isn't an impulse decision, someone doesn't see an ad and buy a surveillance system on the spot. It takes follow-up, trust-building, and the right message at the right moment in their decision.

Clicks Bazaar moved into lead nurturing and engagement, building out how VProtect followed up with the leads coming in, and how that follow-up activated actual conversions rather than letting interested prospects go cold after the initial inquiry. This is the part of the work that doesn't show up as clearly in a single stat, but it's usually where a lead-generation engine either turns into real revenue or quietly wastes the volume it worked hard to generate.

Six Years, and Counting

A relationship that's outlasted ten previous attempts, many times over.

This engagement is now in its sixth year, longer than VProtect had worked with any single agency before Clicks Bazaar, combined. Across that time, the numbers tell part of the story.

The Bigger Outcome: Creating a Category

From zero digital presence to a category that didn't exist before.

The lead numbers matter, but they're not the most significant part of this story. Over six years, Clicks Bazaar didn't just generate leads for VProtect inside an existing market. The work helped build an entirely new category in India's security space, AI-powered, smart e-surveillance as its own recognized segment, not just another entry inside traditional CCTV and security services.

That's a different kind of result than a campaign report captures. It's the difference between winning market share inside a category that already exists, and helping create the category a brand now leads in. Ten agencies before Clicks Bazaar couldn't get VProtect's digital presence to produce a single reliable lead. Six years later, the brand isn't just visible, it's defined a space in the market that other companies are now following into.

Why This Case Study Doesn't Fit a Single Campaign Format

Most case studies show a defined campaign window, a before number and an after number. VProtect's story runs six years and covers a website build, a full SEO foundation, ongoing performance marketing, lead nurturing infrastructure, and ultimately, the creation of a new market category. Each phase depended on the one before it, the pilot proved paid could work, the website and SEO gave that traffic somewhere credible to land, and the nurturing work turned raw leads into an actual sales pipeline.

None of it would have mattered on its own. A pilot without follow-through website and SEO work would have stalled. Lead volume without nurturing would have been wasted. It's the combination, sustained over six years, that turned a brand ten agencies had already given up on into one credited with building a category.

“
"We'd tried ten agencies before Clicks Bazaar, and honestly, by that point we didn't believe digital marketing was going to work for us at all. They started small, with a pilot, and earned the trust to take on everything else after that actually worked. Six years later, we're not just generating leads, we've built a category in this market that didn't exist before. That's not something any of the previous ten agencies came close to."
